Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Field yes Paradise no - We arrived here 27th December with a group of family and friends ready for New Year what a big disappointment. My husband was the first in the group to pay his balance (we had booked a superior garden view room)we were told to wait for key while the others were checked in. About 10mins later myself and my husband were told to get in the truck leaving the others behind we were then driven about 500yrds along the main road 350yrds up a track into the jungle then 250yrds up a unmade road to a place that the owner said was garden view, this was a 2 story block of 2 separate rooms next to the owners house, there was no where to buy water/food etc and he gave us a card and said to ring when we wanted picking up to go to the beach etc. We tried to explain that this is not what we booked and that we wanted to be in the same place as our family and friends after a lot of discussion and tears we demanded to be taken back to Fieldparadise. Next stage the owner then tried to move other members of the party out into the accommodation they had given us we said no way. My husband demanded a full refund which we got and then him and another member of our group went along the beach to find us other accommodation we were very lucky to get into Rung Arun Resort as some people had not turned up we also ended up saving £120 pound on the weeks accommodation in a place that was 100% better than Fieldparadise. Other members of the group stayed the week in Fieldparadise and they were disgusted by the accommodation the room my daughter was in had no windows very little light and the toilet come shower room were really dirty and smelly there room was never cleaned this also applied to others that stayed in this place.We all expected basic but there is a difference between basic and dirty and smelly. I would not recommend this place to anyone my advise is to stay well clear they over charge and over book for the worst place to stay on Ban Tai beach.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Was in air-con en-suite. Both bathroom and bedroom were big and clean. They could do with getting new bed linen (We had a Disney themed sheet). Would reccommend that you hire a motorbike if you stay here, as it is quite a long distance to either Baan Tai or Thongsala, never mind Haad Rin. Local transport costs between 50-100 Baht one way.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Staff were not the most cheerful, food was pretty dull. Get what you pay for as long as you don t mind sleeping with A LOT of bugs. On a beautiful beach though and they run taxi s to full moon as long as you have been drinking in their bar beforehand.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: this resort provides modest accommodations at a reasonable price, i.e., a good value. the owners were very nice and always willing to satisfy our needs. i d go back here, though i think the name is now Summer Beach Resort.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: What a sad experience it was...where do i start from? The bad food which had hair in it, the three dirty dogs roaming all around including the restaurant/kitchen area, the lack of toilet paper, the sand all over in the rooms... the list goes on. Plus don t expect a pickup service.. i expected and i was disappointed. While checking in, I was told that I would get a free taxi to the port the day I leave. I left without any taxi...because well, these guys don t keep their promises. Once i ordered curry with chicken.. and after 20 minutes they served me a curry with everything in it except chicken. And they don t think twice before commenting on your religious beliefs either. OMG... this is anything but paradise, these people are extremely unprofessional - PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: I spent the Christmas week in the Fieldparadise resort. The personnel was very nice and the location was good (if you have a motorbike). The restaurant was a little slow but hey, I was on vacation so there was no hurry to anywhere. They would serve your food and drinks directly to the beach or to your hammock. Music was good and played until last customers left to FMP. There are many resorts in Ban Tai, this one is very nice considering the price and location. If you want beach and relax stay here. And take a taxibus to parties.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!!!After booking to stay at this place 3 months in advance I was very disappointed when I arrived to find that there was no room reserved. They were happy to take my money via this site and indeed had a record of the booking, but said that the people who were using the room before we arrived had to decided to stay a bit longer! So we had no room! Seeing as it was New Years Eve, there were no other rooms on the island. As there was no where else to stay, the hotal cleared out a store room for us to spend the night in. We left the next day as there was still no room for us. They refused to give us any money back and so our night in a store room cost us 1600 Baht (our deposit).
