Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Really lovely Resort. Location is fantastic, about 20mins drive from full moon. On beautiful Ban Thai beach, nice and chilled out! Some good restaurants and bars, within close reach. Rooms are quite basic, but so is the price. Although very clean, and safe in room. The pool and beach more than make up for it though... Staff really friendly and went out of their way to help us, we got a personal lift to the ferry at 6am!! Recommend :)

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Un petit paradis sur une plage idyllique, nous n avons pas été déçus les propriétaires sont absolument charmants et prêts à satisfaire toutes vos demandes. Pour avoir visité une grande partie de cette ile nous ne pouvons que conseiller une halte dans ce merveilleux resort, si vous prenez comme nous les bungalows sur la plage vous aurez cette sensation d être seuls au monde, la plage est nettoyée deux fois par jour et croyez moi c est rare .... et surtout ne manquez pas de prendre quelques repas sur place leur cuisine est excellente et le prix très correct

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: We had a great stay at Rungarun as it is located on a beautiful expanse of white beach with wind surfing right on the doorstep to watch and totally quiet from the full moon bustle, although close enough to enjoy the party and get back easily in the wee hours of the morning. The menu is not extensive but the kitchen the cleanest we saw in Thailand. The menu next door is much larger and diverse.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Staff is very helpful (renting scooter, booking tours, infos about the island, etc.) and speaks quite good English. Best beach area in Baan Tai. A pity that the breakfast is not included in the price of the room.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: It was a little expensive, but a very nice place. I think they start dropping the price if you stay for at least 4 nights. Pan (sp?) was such a warm and friendly manager/owner (?) of the place. Lot s of cats and dogs running around. Nice pool, OK beach front (but you can always walk up and down this beach [Ban Tai] to find other beaches during the day and bungalow bars at night). Good food, although if you order eggs for breakfast tell them not to cook too long! Close enough to Haad Rin and very close to Thongsala (I really like the location in between the two). You can easily rent motorbikes (they will call someone for you) to drive around the rest of the island, but be careful of some of the hilly roads especially heading towards Haad Rin. They will also book ferry s for you. Not a lot of night action at this particular bungalow, but again, you can always walk up and down the beach at night to find a bar or just taxi to Haad Rin. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: For anyone looking for peace and quiet: this is the perfect spot. Comfortable bungalows, lovely well kept gardens, a nice little swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Two minor things: the restaurant food is a bit disappointing,and there is not enough shade on the beach; large umbrellas would solve this problem. A lovely place to relax.

We are so glad we chose this resort.The beachfront bungalow R02 lived up to more than our expectations.Great clean swimming pool and very well kept gardens.The private beach was the best beach in Ban Tai and cleaned and raked each morning to make it look immaculate.The Bungalow was clean and well apointed it even had a bath tub,everything worked and was clean and modern.The staff were great and helpful as was the owner who went out of her way to make sure everything was just right.Food was good quality very cheap and quick which we didnt expect after previose comments on time taken to prepare food.Dont expect a party as this resort is quiet and relaxing.If you dont choose the Rungarun when staying in Ban Tai then you are making a mistake and will miss out on perhaps the best place to stay between Tongsala and haad Rin.I will be back for sure and didnt want to leave.Everything was perfect for us which is hard to get when booking on line,the photos dont do this place justice.Thanks to Pan and staff for a great holiday on Koh Phangan.

We had our 2 year old daughter with us this time and found that the place had become very popular with families. Very clean well kept resort and the pool is a great addition. Highly Recommended,

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Our stay at the resort was fantastic. The bungalows were modern, clean and spacious and were cleaned each day. The staff were very friendly, especially Pan, who runs the resort. We were assisted with enquiries with regards to further travelling, scooter hire and location of landmarks on the island. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and reasonably priced. The resort is located far enough away from Haad Rin to escape the noise and the crowds but not so far away that it was a big inconvenience. The beach is pretty, though not always great for swimming as it is quite shallow some of the time. I would thoroughly recommend Rungarun.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Hi all, I stayed at Rungarun Resort for 4 nights, jan-feb 2007. I found this place fantastic!! Great value, friendly service and quiet location. It s only 15 minutes in a Tuk Tuk to Haad Rin the main town on Koh Phangan where the full moon party is. Food service is quite slow - but apart from that a great place to stay!! Right on the beach as well!!

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Beautiful resort in a great location. It s situated on Ban Tai beach which is about 15min taxi ride from Haad Rin and all the main nightlife. The bungalows are clean, neat and tidy, with aircon, fridge, complimentary water and great views if you get a seafront one!The staff at Rungarun are friendly and will do anything to help you. It has a real family feel about it.Unfortunately the weather was quite bad when we stayed there so it did put a dampener on things, but we still enjoyed our time there.My only comment would be that it is very very quiet at Rungarun. Some of the neighbouring resorts had music playing during the day, and films in the evening , which would have been nice at times. If you want total peace and quiet though, this is for you.
