Andre kommentarer om hotellet: All in all we had a good stay at the garden Lodge. The rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. They were nicely decorated and came with flat screen TV s etc. The 24 hour reception is not the case however. Sometimes it was hard to get anything from the owner who wasnt the most friendly person. The resort isn t too far away in a cab for the full moon party however local shops shut early leaving you feeling a bit stranded. Generally a nice resort and i would return. Relaxing and value for money.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: The Garden Lodge is the perfect location for people who looking for a private, quite and save place. The beach was 30 meters away our bungalow and there is also the Phangan Beach Restaurant where we had breakfast and good dinners for a very resonable price. It s easy to rent a Motorbike direct at the place and discover the whole of Koh Phanagn. We enjoy the good service especially the complimentary coffee, tea and drinking water and also the free internet access. We absulutely recommend this resort and will come back next holiday.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: We stayed at Garden Lodge 3 nights in November 2009. The hotel is situated 50 meters from a beautiful quiet sandy beach where there is also a restaurant. The pool is gorgeous and surrounded by a floral garden setting. Garden Lodge is a safe quiet and clean place to stay.The rooms are well appointed,modern and clean and the staff is friendly and concerned with your comfort.I ll certainly return to this hotel on my next visit to Koh Phangan.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: My friends and I stayed in the Garden Villa, a 2 bedroom villa, with kitchen, adjoining dining room and bathroom. It suited our need because of the 2 bedrooms and was the main reason we stayed at the Garden lodge. All the great prior reviews sealed it for us. It was great having the comforts of 24 hour wi fi, a/c, decent bath/shower, tv/dvd and comfortable beds. The owner and his staff of one were helpful and friendly. Its just a short stroll to near-by bars/restaurants as well as the beach (just a minute away). The beach has hammocks, a shower, bar/restaurant and despite what I had heard it is possible to swim here even if it can be a bit shallow (down to knee high for us at times) when the tide is out. The Garden Lodge would be perfect for people seeking peace & quiet but we were left disappointed by this very aspect of it. Haad Rinn is definitely a more happening place and the beach is more lovely and places like Haad Yuan have that quiet vibe that the Garden Lodge enjoys while being more beautiful to boot. One complaint is that some guy was working on cutting foilage around the hotel from morning to afternoon everyday, which was quite a nuisance but then again I guess these things have to be done sometime and I didn t complain so naturally I can t expect there to have been anything done about it.All in all, our stay at the Garden Lodge was a pleasant one. Koh Phangan is beautiful. I will definitely be back but ill stay elsewhere next time.

The rooms are very comfartable, clean and spacious with a lovely outside balcony overlooking beautiful well kept gardens and pool. Frank the owner was very helpful and a nice guy. It was rigt next to Ban Tao beach which was also a beautiful beach with hammocks. Frank the owner was very helpful, we hope to return again next year. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: what a great place, i have travelled s/e asia alot, this was just a 2 week holiday in thailand, my girlfriend and i spent 10 days at the garden lodge and it was lovely. Frank is a good lad, helpful and rents motorbikes, the superior room is brilliant, to may reviews on this site are by people with no concept of thailand at all. for £30 a night you cant go wrong, huge bed, hot shower, good sports channels and films on the sky tv, sliding doors just 10 foot froom the pool,good air con and comfy seats, really private, no worries about peopke at the pool, even when full there is only 7 rooms and hey it s pang nang..everyones always out and about doing stuff, i fully recomend rzzing to had rin and back. if i find myself back on pang nang, i ll stay there again.. really nice..perfect for getting away from Chavs.

The guy running it is very nice & helpful & we ended up staying an extra night! It was great being able to rent his notebote for the night to book flights etc We stayed for the full moon party & it was close enough by taxi but far enough away so we had peace & quite too.

We stayed at the villa which had everything you needed. The pool area and garden is very beautiful. The free coffee, tea and water was very much appreciated by us. We really recommend Garden Lodge as a first class place to stay in Koh Phangan.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Stayed at the Garden Villa. It was huge enough for the 4 of us. The Garden Logde is a very private setting and as there are only five (or six) villas in the whole resort, we were ensured with full privacy and safety. Even though there is no restaurant or breakfast, fear not, coz we found everything and anything at the nearby resorts and around Ban Tai. By the way, the kitchen is complete with microwave and toaster ovens. Full fridge and freezer to store all the booze!!!!! This is very hard to find in hotel rooms. Frank, the owner, personally took care of our personal needs. Really saves us the trouble of finding motorcycles, food, advice etc. The Garden Logde is a place to stay in Phangan as it made our vacation truly felt like home-stay. Thank you so much, Frank.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: We originally booked a few nights here as we traveled to Koh Phangan for the half moon party which is situated closer to Baan Tai than Haad Rin. When we arrived to Koh Samui we discovered that the date of the half moon had been changed. This meant we had to amend our booking at the Garden Lodge and could only stay for one night. I emailed Frank, the owner, and he was very prompt in responding. I was able to amend the booking but had to pay a large cancellation fee for the nights that we did not stay. We were fine with this as the cancellation fees are stated when you book. The taxi driver dropped us at the top of the driveway and we needed to carry our luggage all the way down till we reached the lodge. We stayed in the Thai Garden Villa. This Villa was fantastic, there were a few ants in the bathroom but apart from that the kitchen has great facilities and there is plenty of space to move around. This place is perfect for families. Next time we travel to Koh Phangan we will stay in Haad Rin though, Baan Thai was a little to quiet for us. If your coming to Phangan to party I wouldn t bother with the half moon party unless you plan on attending the full moon party aswell. Phangan Beach resort is right next door. There a cute little bungalows here and there is also a great restaurant and bar. The beach is quite close by, beware of coral in the shallow water though. We were very happy with our stay here but suggest this place for couples, families and those who are after a more secluded beach.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Garden Lodge is a very beautiful resort. For us as German it was very helpful that Frank owner is German, too. It was no problem that there was no breakfast, lunch or dinner, because you had have everything in Ban Tai.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Very good, clean hotel, the service was really caring and the administrator is very kind and supportive for any kind of activities within the island.The hotel itself and the surroundings were just like we expected, and just like we got them presented on the pictures: superb landscapes and easy access to the beach and to pretty much anywhere within Koh Phangan! In short we enjoyed ourselves a lot, and are looking forward to come again!

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: I stayed in the Garden Lodge last Fullmoon. This place is an absolute recommendation. The suite room was really worth it and nice and clean. Also a plus is the swimmingpool which is nice as a substitute to the beach. The owner was also very flexible with the extra guest that we brought. Certainly worth coming back!
