Andre kommentarer om hotellet: nice romantic bungalows, beautiful view on the little cute private beach. private only because of situated at the other end of koh tao. that's also why they can make high prices for food and beverage. you have to go there by taxi, the road is not concrete and very dangerous to drive, so you cannot rent a motorbike to go there on your own. for relaxing at the resort its good, for getting around on koh tao its bad.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Though located perfectly on Laem Thien pinnacle with splendid sunrise views and opportunities for rock climbing and snorkeling, this place is a real disappointment merely due to the management. They constantly have problems with water supplies and electricity (even in those few hours when it is supposed to be available). During our stay every second day was without water and the staff did not care for that at all saying it is fault of the clients who forgot to close the tap. The food is very expensive and the kitchen is a real mess. But if you try to supply food for yourself at the Sairee village, the manager Ping Pong would be pissed off. Actually, her priority is the well-being of her staff than the clients interests. They do not care for the environment, either. The clients clean the beach, not the staff. The rocks around the main building are littered. the only chance to save this unique place is to have the real professional manager, not just some PingPong. The concept of this isolated place with the bungalows right in the middle of the jungle is very exciting and it can be put into reality with just a little effort and responsibility. good luck.

Very good snorkeling place, but sometime big waves. We can recommend this place very much, you get a lot for your money.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: We book this place from the nice pictures on the website. After arriving from the boat the taxi drivers not amused to bring us to Laem Thian Resort. So, waiting 1.5 hour for the free pick-up service. The trip from the main pier to the resort is horrible. The road the the resort is in so so so bad condition. You can not imagine. The bad road make you can not move at all the time you stay here. Or you have to pay 100 thb one way/person to make the horror 30 minute 1.5 km trip to the main land. The wooden bungalows are very very basic. No electricity from 6.30-18.00. No chair, no blanket, no hot shower even no soap. Only a lot of mosquito s even if using the net. The food and excursions in this resort are expensive. But you have no choice, you can not move. The only positive thing is the beautiful and quite area and nature around the resort and the very beautiful bay. The price look like cheap. But the food excursions and the expensive taxi-service to the main land make you spend a lot of money here. This place not worth!!

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: 6 of us girls stayed here for 4 nights, we really enjoyed ourselves! the staff were really nice and friendly, very chilled out in day on private beach and then funky at night at the bar right by the beach. Got free pick up from ferry port, just b wary of the bumpy travel to the hotel!! Still a traveller s Haven for sure - cheap and cheerful!!

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: The hotelstandard was low, but you get what you pay for, so it was very cheap. Nice snorkling. Good cooking, nice staff. Very bad road to the hotel - don´t rent a bike - it could kill you! The first transport to the hotel was a bit scary - sitting back on the van trying not to be throwed of the car made your heart beat faster. But you get used to it, so the next time it felt better.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Laem Thain is very basic and set is in the most beautiful bay you can ever imagine. If it is remote and island style simplicity you need then this is for you. Ping Pong the owner and her staff are all very friendly and really go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. We are divers and found it easy to book at Black tip resort in the next bay as they just picked us up from the shore with a long tail boat. Snorkelling and food is great. I would go back one day

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Excellent place! Rustic but well put-together bungalows set atop a little bay with majestic views of the east side of Ko Tao. Very relaxing...hardcore 30 minutes in the the back of a pick up truck to get there but so worth it. Removed yet they go into town twice a day so still get your shopping done. The staff are sooo lovely - Ping Pong and her husband run to the place (she makes great cocktails and can do fire poi!) and her Burmese staff are all smiles and very welcoming. Food is decently priced and so yum (it s Jun s wife who cooks and she ll show you how to make your favourite dish if you re nice). Snorkel right off the beach, jump off the 10m jumping rock, take a day trip to another part of the island...stayed ten days (you ll definitely want at least 6) and promised to return. Wonderful. Perfect for couples or the singles. Great energy - quite still in mid-October but met really nice people coming through. Don t stay in a room - stay longer and bargain with Ping Pong for your own bungalow!

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Fantastic place.. very secluded (45 min. by pickup from the pier)and homie :) The staff is one big happy family - all of them very friendly.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Positve: An amaizing location, real remote and not too easy to access (which was a bonus for us!). Great snorkeling and food. The huts are basic but have bathrooms, the view is incredible. Great value if looking for a budget and down to earth type of experience, we loved it!Negative: Mattress was shit and some of the staff a bit creepy.
