Andre kommentarer om hotellet: I found the Tide Resort to be very clean, friendly staff, easy to find, and nice gardens. The room was very clean, facilities all there. The hotel was quiet at the time, possibly not attracting as many Australian holiday-makers. Beach was close but could not be seen from the room, but pool was for me too public and on view to all rooms, and public areas of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was usual good standard, and service very quick.Reception (check-in & out) was quick although I advise you to let reception know a little before you want to check out to give them time to check the room condition and mini-bar/fridge stock.This saves time at check-out. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: A very nice hotel with a lovely pool at its heart. Good food with wide range of choices from the menu. Pleasant atmosphere with polite and attentive staff. Bang Saen as a place is not the nicest beach location I have been to but The Tide represents an oasis in which you can feel pampered. Given that I like to spend time relaxing by the pool my only criticism is that the poolside beds are hard (wooden)and uncomfortable. The resort would do well to invest in cushions/mattresses.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Staff did not attempt to allocate a double bed room, despite full pre-payment. During check-in, staff did not attempt to give us a double room and instead gave us a twin bed room. I learned later that night that, due to Bangkok riots, there had been several cancellations and double bed rooms were available.Check-out procedure takes way too long at this hotel. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: The hotel is on his return.Buffet is very good.Swimming pool :a little dirty and wooden chairs without matrasses, uncomfortable .The prices are too high.Something wrond with the management.Internet : difficult and expensive.Baen Saen : no taxis. 1300 THB to airport.I do not recommend this hotel.I am a regular traveller in Thailand and I take mostly hotels with 3 stars. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: NICE HOTEL, FAIRLY QUIET AT TIME OF MY VISIT - ROOM CLEAN AND PLEASANTLY FURNISHED. STAFF FRIENDLY, POLITE AND HELPFUL. ROOM SERVICE EFFICIENT.NOT THE FAULT OF THE HOTEL BUT BEACH OPPOSITE THE HOTEL WAS PRETTY AWFUL - DIRTY WITH A TIDE LINE OF FILTH EACH DAY - COULD HARDLY SEE MOST OF THE BEACH DUE TO STACK AFTER STACK OF GRUBBY TYRE INNER TUBES FOR BATHERS - CONSTANT ROAR OF SPEED BOATS TOWING BANANAS AND THE SCREAMS OF THE HAPLESS WHO FELL OFF. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Excellent hotel with beautiful facilities, property, pool and a great breakfast. The room was spotless and although nothing special was more than adequate with a large bathroom, about 60 tv channels and a nice balcony overlooking the beach. Great location across from the beach and some very nice restaurants not far from the hotel. I will definitely stay at the Tide again.
