Andre kommentarer om hotellet: A very nice hotel with a lovely pool at its heart. Good food with wide range of choices from the menu. Pleasant atmosphere with polite and attentive staff. Bang Saen as a place is not the nicest beach location I have been to but The Tide represents an oasis in which you can feel pampered. Given that I like to spend time relaxing by the pool my only criticism is that the poolside beds are hard (wooden)and uncomfortable. The resort would do well to invest in cushions/mattresses.

Hvordan bestilling ble håndtert: Very tedious - it took many e-mails to finally confirm booking and payment. Booking should be real time , with immediate confirmation and payment.
Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Staff did not attempt to allocate a double bed room, despite full pre-payment. During check-in, staff did not attempt to give us a double room and instead gave us a twin bed room. I learned later that night that, due to Bangkok riots, there had been several cancellations and double bed rooms were available.Check-out procedure takes way too long at this hotel. I waited 15 minutes while they confirmed my declared mini-bar use.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: The hotel is on his return.Buffet is very good.Swimming pool :a little dirty and wooden chairs without matrasses, uncomfortable .The prices are too high.Something wrond with the management.Internet : difficult and expensive.Baen Saen : no taxis. 1300 THB to airport.I do not recommend this hotel.I am a regular traveller in Thailand and I take mostly hotels with 3 stars.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: NICE HOTEL, FAIRLY QUIET AT TIME OF MY VISIT - ROOM CLEAN AND PLEASANTLY FURNISHED. STAFF FRIENDLY, POLITE AND HELPFUL. ROOM SERVICE EFFICIENT.NOT THE FAULT OF THE HOTEL BUT BEACH OPPOSITE THE HOTEL WAS PRETTY AWFUL - DIRTY WITH A TIDE LINE OF FILTH EACH DAY - COULD HARDLY SEE MOST OF THE BEACH DUE TO STACK AFTER STACK OF GRUBBY TYRE INNER TUBES FOR BATHERS - CONSTANT ROAR OF SPEED BOATS TOWING BANANAS AND THE SCREAMS OF THE HAPLESS WHO FELL OFF. FIREWORKS ARE FINE, BUT NOT AT 4 AM.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Excellent hotel with beautiful facilities, property, pool and a great breakfast. The room was spotless and although nothing special was more than adequate with a large bathroom, about 60 tv channels and a nice balcony overlooking the beach. Great location across from the beach and some very nice restaurants not far from the hotel. I will definitely stay at the Tide again.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: A hotel is not only judged by it´s eventual size or looks of the building. A hotel and it´s atmosphere is coming from the people running it! And there Tide is left behind unfortunately. And I can only see that it is a management error. Properly trained and encouraged staff - does a good job! If I ran it there would be visible changes already 1st week for sure! Bangsaen is a nice relaxed place which I will return to. Very much a resort for thai people and that I like! But the staff of Tide is among the most unattentive and nondelivering I have met during many many years in this country. Not a hi , welcome or thank you at any time. Quite sad really. Pool is so dirty I never used it a 2nd time. Restaurant you surely only visit once. It is useless. Rooms are ok, I had a deluxe, not very big and shows signs of wearing down. Shower is the irritating standing in the bathtub fighting with a plastic curtain which I really hate! I want a shower stall. All in all too expensive for what they deliver. But again - with proper management it could very well be really nice! So get a new boss! Internet charges are ridiculous! 200 baht per hour or 950 B for 24 hours!! I found another hotel whilst strolling around I will use next time that really looked great and right on the beach. Much better - and cheaper. A warning for the beach though. Very dirty water unfortunately. But still - I like Bangsaen and will return!

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: The Tide Resort is worth every star. The hotel is very well kept and the rooms are good, clean and spacious. The fitness center is outstanding and breakfast has it all. Location is good right next to the beach. But please note this is off the beaten tourist track. Very few - including the local tourist office and hotel staff - speak english and you will not find souvenir shops and huge markets selling T-shirts, DVD s and what not. This is where the Thais go when they have time off (i.e. weekends)making it quite charming and relaxed and you will find good and very reasonable priced places to eat close to the hotel. Kitchen Corner just before the Leanhong Center became our favourite.
